Who I am
Finora Technologies is a trading name of Fiyin Olagbaju, a sole trader based in Bexley, south-east London. I am the data controller for the personal information described here. You can contact me about anything in this notice at enquiries@finoratechnologies.co.uk.
What I collect
When you use the contact form or email me, I collect the details you give me: your name, email address, business name (if you include it), the type of help you're interested in and your message. I don't use advertising or tracking cookies on this website.
Why I use it, and the lawful basis
- To reply to your enquiry and follow up on it – based on my legitimate interests in responding to people who contact me about my services.
- To prepare a proposal or provide services if you ask me to – because it's necessary to take steps before entering into a contract with you, or to perform that contract.
I won't add you to a mailing list or sell or share your details for marketing.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiry details for up to 2 years from our last contact, then delete them. If you become a client, records needed for the contract, tax and accounting are kept for as long as the law requires.
Who processes it for me
I use a small number of service providers who process data on my behalf:
- Netlify – hosts this website.
- Formspree (Formspree, Inc., based in the US) – processes contact form submissions and forwards them to my inbox.
- Zoho – provides my business email.
Some of these providers may store or access data outside the UK. Where that happens, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as UK-approved standard contractual clauses or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how I use it, and to ask for it to be transferred to you or someone else. To make a request, email enquiries@finoratechnologies.co.uk. I'll respond within one month.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, please contact me first so I can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
